Itinerary Highlights

Day 1 Arrive Delhi

  • Namaste – Welcome to India. You will be assisted at the airport and escorted to the hotel for check-in.

  • Overnight at the Hotel – Delhi.

Day 2 Delhi

  • Today we take a guided tour of Old Delhi Jama Masjid. Later we walk down through Chandni Chowk, drive past Red Fort. We also visit Raj Ghat, India Gate, President's House, Humayun's Tomb, and Qutub Minar.

  • Overnight at the Hotel - Delhi.

Day 3 Delhi – Jaipur (262km - 5-6hours)

  • Today we drive to Jaipur, popularly known as Pink City.

  • City orientation tour of Jaipur.

  • Overnight at the Hotel – Jaipur.

Day 4 Jaipur

  • Today we take an excursion to Amber Fort, take an Elephant ride to reach the Fort situated on the hill. Also visit City Palace, Jantar Mantar, Hawa Mahal.

  • Evening free to explore the city markets and indulge yourself in shopping activities.

  • Overnight at the Hotel - Jaipur.

Day 5 Jaipur – Agra via Fatehpur Sikri (260 km - 6 hours)

  • Today we drive to Agra, en route we will visit Fatehpur Sikri, upon arrival at Agra we visit Agra Fort, and Sikandara, Akbar's tomb.

  • Overnight at the Hotel – Agra.

Day 6 Agra – Jhansi (by Train Dep.1015, Arr1340 hrs.) & Jhansi - Khajuraho (166 km/ 04 hrs)

  • Early morning, we visit Taj Mahal (closed on Friday).

  • Post breakfast at hotel, you will be transferred to Railway station to board the train for Jhansi. Upon arrival, drive to Khajuraho.

  • Optional - Sound & Light Show at Khajuraho.

  • Overnight at the Hotel – Khajuraho.

Day 7 Khajuraho

  • Today we visit Khajuraho temples, the eastern and the western group of temples.

  • Overnight at the Hotel – Khajuraho.

Day 8 Khajuraho – Varanasi (By Afternoon flight)

  • In time transfer to Airport to board flight to Varanasi. On arrival Varanasi, transfer to hotel. Rest of the day free for own activities.

  • Later in the evening we witness the Aarti ceremony at the ghats.

  • Overnight at the hotel - Varanasi.

Day 9 Varanasi

  • Sunrise boat ride on the river Ganges.

  • Later we take an excursion to Sarnath, the site of the deer park where Gautama Buddha is said to have given his first sermon about the basic principles of Buddhism.

  • Overnight at the hotel - Varanasi.

Day 10 Varanasi - Delhi (By afternoon flight)

  • Later in the afternoon transfer to Varanasi airport to board flight for Delhi. Upon arrival, meet assistance and transfer to hotel.

  • Overnight at the hotel - Delhi

Day 11 Delhi - Departure

  • Morning transfer to international airport to board flight for onward journey.
