Itinerary Highlights
Day 2 Bangalore
Today we will take a guided tour of Bangalore, visiting Tipu Sultan Palace, ISKCON Temple, Lal Bagh Garden, Vidhan Sabha - a seat of state legislature - an imposing magnificent palatial building built in 'Neo-Dravidian' Style and incorporates Indo Sara scenic elements.

Day 3 Bangalore - Hassan (195 Km / 5 Hrs.)
Day 4 Hassan – Mysore (115 Km / 3½ Hrs.)
Today we drive down to Mysore.
Arrive and check-In at hotel.
Later we take a tour of Mysore, we visit Srirangapatnam, the historic capital of Tipu Sultan, Darya Daulat, commonly known as Summer Palace of Tipu Sultan, Maharaja Palace, designed by British architect Henry Irwin, the Amba Villas Palace as it is also known, was completed in 1912.
Chamundi Hill, which is topped with a 12th century temple of Durga with the magnificent 5m tall Nandi, Carved from single piece of granite in 1659, its one of largest in India.

Day 5 Mysore - Ooty (160 Km / 4 Hrs.)
Today we drive to Ooty (Udagamandalam), Queen of hill stations & the capital of Nilgiri district.
An added attraction for the tourists is the mountain train journey.

Day 6 Ooty - Cochin (295 Km / 7 Hrs.)
Today we drive to Cochin, enjoy the scenic mountain ride down to Cochin.

Day 7 Cochin / Half Day Tour
Today we visit St. Francis' Church, Dutch Palace, originally built by the Portuguese.
Also visit Jewish Synagogue, built in the year 1568.
Chinese fishing nets (Cheenavala), are distinctly unique to Cochin.
In the evening see Kerala's most popular classical dance, Kathakali.

Day 8 Cochin – Munnar (140 Km / 4 Hrs.)
Today we drive to Munnar, most popular hill station in South India, enjoy the scenic drive to Munnar.
Upon arrival relax at the hotel.

Day 9 Munnar – Sightseeing
Today we take a tour of Munnar, visiting the world's highest tea estates spread like a green carpet over a large area.
Later we visit Eravikulam National Park (Closed - January & February), the best place to see the rare Nilgiri Tahr (Mountain Goat).
Evening at leisure to enjoy the natural beauty of the place.

Day 10 Munnar – Periyar (130 Km / 3 Hrs.)
Today we drive to Periyar (Thekkady), one of India's most fascinating natural wildlife sanctuaries.
In the evening we go for a Spice Plantation Tour.

Day 11 Periyar – Kumarakom (145 Km / 4 Hrs.)
At sun rise we take a boat ride to view wildlife sanctuary on Lake Periyar.
Later we drive to Kumarakom, It is a cluster of little Islands, on the Vembanad Lake in Kerala.

Day 12 Kumarakom – Allepey (Overnight Houseboat)
Today we visit Kumarakom Bird sanctuary.
There are two seasons for birds: between October & February there are Cormorants, Teals, & other Ducks & from February to July there are Darters (Snake Birds), Night Herons, Egrets, & Siberian Storks.
Later we board the houseboat, locally called Kettuvallam, cruise around beautiful backwaters of Kumarakom to Alleppey to observe & experience the daily life of the villagers along the backwaters.

Day 13 Allepey – Kovalam (170 Km / 2 Hrs.)
Today morning we disembark houseboat & drive straight for Kovalam, an Internationally renowned beach with three adjacent crescent beaches.
Day at leisure to explore the beach destination.
