Itinerary Highlights

Day 1 Flight to India Arrive Mumbai

  • Namaste – Welcome to India. You will be assisted at the airport and escorted to the hotel for check-in.

  • Overnight stay in Mumbai.

Day 2 Mumbai

  • In the morning we will drive to Elephanta Caves.

  • In Mumbai, we take a walk through the harbour area and visit the Gateway of India built in 1927 by the British.

  • Our sightseeing in Mumbai includes the Gandhi Museum, Hanging Gardens.

  • Overnight stay in Mumbai.

Day 3 Mumbai - Aurangabad (by air) - Ellora Caves - Aurangabad

  • In the morning drive to the airport for the flight to Aurangabad.

  • After a short break we will start an excursion to Ellora Caves (7th - 10th century AD). The magnificent group of rock temples of Ellora are a part of world heritage monuments. Ellora group of temples represent the art and sculptures of Buddhism, Hinduism and Jainism.

  • Overnight stay in Aurangabad.

Day 4 Aurangabad - Ajanta Caves – Aurangabad

  • In the morning we will start for Ajanta caves (around 100 km).

  • Of the thirty monuments at Ajanta, four caves No 9, 10, 26 and 29 are sanctuaries or Chaitya containing a Stupa at the centre of their apses.

  • An Indian poet Kalidasa describes these caves as the gem set of jewellery, rich furniture, imposing architecture.

  • Overnight stay in Aurangabad.

Day 5 Aurangabad - Mumbai

  • In the morning we fly from Aurangabad to Mumbai.

  • Evening free for leisure.

  • Overnight stay in Mumbai.

Day 6 Mumbai - Goa

  • In the morning drive to the airport for the flight to Goa.

  • Enjoy the beach destination at leisure.

  • Overnight stay in Goa.

Day 7 Goa

  • Day at leisure to explore at own.

  • Overnight stay in Goa.

Day 8 Goa

  • Day at leisure to explore at own.

  • Overnight stay in Goa.

Day 9 Goa - Departure

  • On time drive to Goa airport to board flight for onward journey.
